Actually, bleach baths won't bleach the skin. It is diluted to the extreme. A small amount in an entire bath tub.

My son has psoriasis. I'm African American and his father is Caucasian. We had to use this 1% steroid cream called Destition (spellcheck) that did as you say "bleach" his skin because I put some on every 2 hours. But after I stopped his color came back and the itching stopped. The sun and heat flares it up so try to keep skin moisturized

FYI I am NOT recommending bleach baths. Just letting you know there are other options out there, because the creams did not work for them either. Speak to your pediatrician or specialist before trying anything.

Have you been to a pediatric dermatologist? That should be your next step. My friends kids (all 3 of them) have severe eczema ,and they HAVE to give bleach baths to keep it at bay. Freaked me out when I first heard of it, but it works for them. They also have bad allergies to milk, any sort of nuts, and other items.
