If there is a chance you could have a seizure while alone w/ your child... yes, he/she should absolutely be taught how to contact emergency services and get them to you.

Nikki, you also need to teach him/her your house number and how to stay on the line. Emergency services are well trained to handle 'kid calls' when a parent has a problem, but its important that they stay on the line with the dispatcher so that your location can be sourced electronically.

Hopefully and prayerfully you will never need your child to do this, but its always better to be prepared!
