I have found it to liberating, I now have time to rediscover me. I have time to pursue things that peak my interest. I love my children and would not trade them for world. I also enjoy my own company, I have plenty of interest and hobbies to kept me busy. It is fun to shop again, because I have some money for me items. Don't get me wrong I still have bills, but I can spoil myself a little more often.

We have our oldest child living with us, but things are different. Different in a good way, I truly appreciate him for the man he has become.

Quiet! I loved having my kids and would do it again in a heartbeat, but when the youngest moved out things were quiet. A couple years later he moved back home with wife and my grandson, the mobile home they were living was not fit to live in (sold and parted out when the owner couldn't get anyone to rent it again). Don't get used to the extra room! I enjoyed having them especially my grandson for 6 months. But we are all much happier living in our own homes now.
