I was wondering if I can get advice on something that's been frustrating me. My baby breastfed perfectly for over 7 months, but in the last few weeks, he's been refusing to eat from my left side. Because of or as a result, I don't know which by now, my left breast gets a lot of clogs, and I've been diligent about frequent pumping to work them out. However, now it seems to have led to a problem of overproduction. I've stored about 48oz of milk in just the last week, and normally I'm lucky to get an extra 8oz. How do I back down the milk production without reducing pumping to the point where I'm leaving clogs in my breasts? Because my baby only eats from the right side, now the right side is also overproducing and getting clogged.
