Hi, my daughter is now 5 and starting prep next year and we have been having trouble finding a medicine that works. She was diagnosed at the age of 2 with epilepsy and was on tegretol and then placed on trileptal and is now on keppra. She went from a happy caring little girl to an angry little girl. She has not been herself since she has been on keppra and it has now been 2 months. We were told hang in there it will get better but we are not seeing any improvement. Has anyone out their found a medication that helps control focal tonic seizures but doesn't cause anger or hormonal problems in girls. I don't like seeing my daughter this way and she doesn't like it either. Please help.
