Epilepsy, Keppra and behavior

My 7 year old son was diagnosed with benign rolandic epilepsy when he was 2, his meds seem to be helping, as he hasnt had a seizure in 4 years and his last EEG still showed abnormalities but improvement over the last, yay!!! My question is, since starting Keppra at age 3, he has had attitude, worse than typical attitude for his age, at any age.

Lately he thinks everything is funny and he always needs his way. He runs his mouth and says rude and disrespectful things, most of the time. I know he isnt always aware of what he is doing, because if we "call him out" he is very remorseful and says he doesnt like to hurt peoples feelings. Sometimes he prefers to just sit on the couch and watch tv or doing nothing at all. It is a struggle to get him outdoors at times. But once he gets to playing he has a fun time. He seems tired at times and often wakes once or twice in the night. His neurologist and ped doesnt seem to think the night waking is an issue. At the age of 7 however, I would expect him to sleep all night? Any suggestions
