Expecting our first child as he is headed to basic tricare question?

My husband leaves very soon, Nov 3 for navy basic training and I am currently 25 weeks pregnant (will be 27 weeks when he ships out) and they have told me that Tricare will start up right away but in two weeks I should get the information in the mail to be able to go one base and get my ID so I can go on base for my prenatal care and labor as soon as possible. Being the hormonal first time mom, I am freaking out because I am not sure how that works. I just want to make sure that I will be covered by tricare as they say when he is training and know the ins n outs to have a less stressful end of pregnancy as well as delivery. I live like 20 minutes from the naval hospital right now, so distance from base isn't an issue. I guess I am just looking for some insight and others experiences with tricare while they are in basic! Much feedback and advice would so helpful and appreciated! Thank you!
