I am apx 5 weeks pregnant with my second pregnancy, but my first end at 6wks 6days with a extopic that almost ended my life last 4 of July. I had no symptoms with my first pregnancy except that i was tired all the time. My period was very heavy then a week later I had spotting. I also had dreams that i was pregnant and I took my first test at 3 weeks. But with this pregnancy I am only little tired and only tested because my period was just spotting. i have no symptoms I have a minor cramping on the left side. I am very scared that I may end up with a repeat of last time. I put on a show for my husband because he is scared to death that it will happen again. my first doctors appt isnt until may 1st by then i will be almost 6 weeks thats if the online calculator is right. Has anyone else experienced a extopic and still had a healthy pregnancy.?Please put my mind at ease.

I survived an ectopic pregnancy and have since had a healthy pregnancy. Mine ended at 5 weeks, 4 days. With the subsequent pregnancy my GP ordered an ultrasound just to check the gestational sac was in the right place. I'm pretty sure this was just on 6 weeks. I know this is a very stressful time for you but you only have to wait a few more days to see your Dr. You can then voice all of your concerns and hopefully get a scan to make sure all is as it should be. For now, try to relax. Be aware of your body and how it's feeling, if you suspect that you have any symptoms of ectopic pregnancy take yourself to emergency and explain your worries. The cramping could simply be hormonal. I found that after my ectopic pregnancy I would get a pain on my right side every time I ovulated. Good luck and I do hope you are blessed with a healthy pregnancy just as I was.

My cousin had an ectopic pregnancy, ended at 8 weeks, and since then she has had 2 perfect pregnancies.

From what I know ectopic pregnancies are more of a random medical condition than a repeating condition. I would call the doctor explain the situation and demand an immediate appointment!

Good luck!
