I'm in my 7 month of pregnancy and it's my first time. I have no idea how does it feel when you have contraction. I keep on reading online, it says it feel like a menstrual cramps or pain in lower back. and I just felt pain in my upper abdomen . it lasted for 5 minutes. Is this a falls contraction ? if yes what should I do ?

Braxton Hicks can take your breath away but are generally not regular not painful. If you are having this cramping sensation at regular intervals call your doctor. Otherwise, drink some water and lay down. Many, many women mistake labor symptoms, even those who have labored before. If you have concerns, it is always wise to check with your doctor.

Braxton Hicks are tightenings in you stomach. There's no need to do anything, it's your body getting ready for the real thing.
When you are in labor the contractions are usually a lot stronger and are more regular. You still have a few months to go.
