Sleeping is probably your main problem to begin with.
Also, potentially depression of some sort. This might sound stupid, but try to get some exercise once a day, and if you have it available over the counter like it is here take melatonin (do your research on this). It helps you fall asleep, but does not keep you asleep like a sleeping pill.
I get like this when I have had a lack of sleep. If you find that your mood is improved that will help with some of the relationships with the kids and the hubby.
Regarding being overwhelmed, sit down with your entire family and let them know you can not handle the everyday pressures and would like some help. Have all the daily chores you do written down on a piece of paper and ask them what they are willing to take on as their responsibility. With the children, let them know what their expectations, and consequences will be (ex. will this be done directly after they get home from school, right before bed, or before they go out to play)
Giving everyone some choice of WHAT they do will help them feel like they have some control in the situation. The 12 year old is old enough to start doing his own laundry at this point, if he inst already. It might take a bit of harping at first, and he might stink for awhile...so setup a day of the week that he HAS to wash he clothes.
Here are some suggestions. I do not have to do all of these steps, because I only have one teenager at home. The rule with him was that he needed to pick out ONE productive chore in the house to do each day to help out, and he chose dishes. Score one for me, cause I HATE doing dishes. ;)
