I caught the father of my son's roommate smoking weed while my son was staying at their place. Now I will not let my son over there. My son's father tells me he does not smoke weed in the house anymore, but I do not want to take the chance. He knows how I feel and he had a chance to move out, but chose not to. He now tells me I am psycho for not letting our son go over there. Am I wrong? Thats my son and I do not want him around that.

First of all, was it your son's father? Or the father of your son's roommate? Or your son's father's roommate?

Those are 3 separate and distinct people. If it was your son's father, and your son is a minor child, it needs to be addressed in court through the custody paperwork.

If it was the father of your son's roommate (as in roommate's dad)...then I'm going to assume that your son is of the age of majority, thus able to pick his own roommates, and you freaking out about the parent of a roommate is a bit much.

If it was your ex's roommate, then this needs to be addressed, again, with the courts and the custody/visitation paperwork.

And please keep in mind that judges will consider the welfare of the child in question, NOT specifically what one or the other parent "wants" for the kid.
