Totally agree with Shawnn Lively!

What gives you the right to take the fathers right away... and take his money?

I mean how does that make sense?

What does your custody order say? If you're in the US, most children are allowed to choose their living arrangements between the ages of 12 & 14 (depending on the state) so it is entirely possible that a judge would allow the change of custody.

and, contrary to your belief, the father of your kid DOES have rights to his kid. It's his kid as much as it is yours, and if he's been paying support, you're just being selfish to not want to allow him access to his kid.

A father does have the same rights to a child as a mother does and in some cases maybe more of a right. It sounds like a control issue for you. You SHOULD NEVER DENY a father his rights.
