Febrile Seizure

My son had a febrile seizure thursday night. Most terrifying thing i have ever witnessed. He spiked a 102.4 fever in a matter of seconds due to a virus. Prior to the seizure he was playing and just fine. He is still getting better but my anxiety is through the roof. Every face he makes or "strange" move makes my heart stop and I am worried constantly. I can't sleep and everytime I have a minute to breath the flashback come rushing through my head. Will this ever go away. Anyone have a similar experience?

Febrile seizures are very common in little kids and not something to be in a panic about. a temp of 102.4 is not even that high. Some pediatricians only want to be called for 103 and higher. 1 of my four had febrile seizures, the others did not. He will outgrow this stage.
