Feeding baby

I gave birth last May 1st 2013.. I gave birth to a baby boy.. Im kinda confuse what to do about when it's not yet his feeding time(every 3hrs) yet he is already hungry.. Is it ok to feed him even its not yet his feeding time?? Help pls...

It was my experience that if I fed when they were hungry, I had happier babies.

One thing to remember is that they are actually never going to fit a set schedule. changes in environment, growth, health, etc will all affect their eating. If they've been on a fairly set schedule, but are now demanding more frequent feeding (especially now...yours is only 8 weeks, and ALOT of growth happens), most likely its a growth spurt.

After they're weaned, then a "schedule" of meals is fine. But before that, you'll be less stressed if you just meet his hunger needs, and that may mean feeding more frequently at times.
