Also, with toddlers, keep offering things over and over. My daughter would not eat peas until about 2 weeks ago. All of the sudden, at age 3, she's decided they are pretty good! :)

Always prepare your usual meals instead of catering to picky habits. Eventually she will learn to try new things. I used to do that with my step-kids. There was always one thing on the table I knew they liked (for example: applesauce, peaches, etc.) so they wouldn't starve to death. They tried one bite of the other things. Eventually, even they were amazed at the number of new foods they found to like.

Never make food a battle. Kids eat when they are hungry. Evolution designed our bodies to eat small amounts throughout the day. We were not built to eat 'meals' and it can take a long time for kids to adjust to that. Offer her healthy choices throughout the day and she will take what she needs. When in a growth phase she will eat more, when not growing so fast, she might not eat much at all. How she is doing this is how humans are meant to eat, so she is good.
