Cereal is not really a food of choice for a baby as it has so little nutritional value. How old it the baby, what kind of cereal are you talking about and has your doctor advised you to start cereal.

If you're talking about feeding cereal or honey mixed with bottles, DON'T.

Honey before 12 months can be deadly to infants, and cereal is empty calories. If baby is needing more in a feeding, up the ounces of breastmilk or formula that you are feeding.

How old is the child and how are you planning on feeding them? Honey under 12 months has the potential to be deadly to a baby... and cereal isn't really an ideal food source.
