My baby is 6 weeks old, she usually takes between 120-150mls of formula every 3- 3.5 hourly. The past few days she has been screaming for feeds earlier and taking it all, but it doesn't seem to fill her up for long even tho she's having so much it makes her sick. What n I do as its too early to start her on baby rice but she seems to be starving?

is formula the only nutrition? (do you also breastfeed?)
Do you mean sick as in she really eats until she throws up?
I think it may be a *little bit* too soon for rice cereal but that choice is fully up to you. How is her weight? has she gained back or lost some?

It sounds like she's going through her first or second growth spurt. They happen in increments, 4-6 w, then again at 8 weeks, then again at 4 months and so on. Babycenter has a very good guide on the growth spurts of babies along with tips on feeding. she *should* not receive more then 32 ounces a day of formula, and when you start solids you take away some formula.
if you give her 5 ounces every 3.5 hours and you see she's still hungry try 4 ounces every 2.5 hours and go from there. Then over time you can gradually increase: 6 ounces every 3.5 hours, 8 ounces every 4.5 hours so on. Of course time your schedule to her. You may notice signs of hunger before she cries: ex pulling at her ears, opening and closing her mouth rapidly like she's chewing, or trying to eat you when you pet her,

the best thing you can do is go along with the growth spurt they usually last about a week. and you're in for a good few back to back growth spurts until about 8 months, then there is more time between them.
good luck
