Feeling afraid of getting pregnant !!!!! Plz help

Plz help!!! I hv a 6 months old girl. I also breast feed her after every 3/4 hours and also give her solid food two times a day from five and half month.My period was happened on time in past days or I can say just on date.After birthing my child I got my first period when she is around two months old and it was also occurred just on date.But in this month my period delayed :(. It's already 4days over from exact date but still no period.i m so tensed about this matter.what should I do? Should I need to do pregnancy test? Plz help as early as possible and make me free from the stress :( .

Yap m using condom as a birth control.but still feel afraid that period does not occure on time as m a regular in period.is irregularity happened in period for a breast feeding moms?

First of all, use birth control. Secondly, it can take hormones a while after birth to regulate. Yes you CAN get pregnant. Apparently you are your most fertile after giving birth, and breast feeding is NOT birth control. So wait a week and take a test to see if you are....or if you get your period. From now on, use condoms or birth control if you do not want to get pregnant, because there is a big chance of it happening.
