Hello everyone, I have been battling with this question for the longest now and I really hope that someone can help me. See,my husband and I are separted now and I had moved back home to Tampa,Florida from Texas where I was living. But in this process I had left my duaghter of 18 years old behind to live with her father, who I might add is a truck driver. He is home only three days out of the week. Her brother also stays there with her, he is 20 years old. But was I wrong for doing that. Please , I need to know if I was wrong for living her behind. She also finishing her last months of school. This year she is graduating. So that was my main reason of not taking her I didnt want her to lose any credits. But now when I spoke to her lately , she inform me that she might decide to stay there in Texas. Not necessary with her father but some friends. I feel as if have lost her. Worse lost myself .

Thank You Dove for your respond. No she didnt ask me if she can come. We had already had discussed the situation at hand and we both agreed that her graduating was very important. She had said that after she completed school she would be interested in moving in with me. But now she had changed her mind. Which is find I guess, I really was looking up for us to move in together or something. Her father is thinking that him and I are going to end up together again but I am having my doubts. I can't help to wonder if it would just be repeating our issues all over again seeing how he really thinks I was the main problem. But again thank you so much for anwsering my question have a bless day.

She's 18 and legally an adult... She can live where ever she wants and with whoever she wants. Did she want to come with you and you told her no? If not... you have nothing to feel guilty about.
