My fertility specialist finally gave my husband and I a diagnosis on why we haven't been able to get pregnant. I do have hypothyroidism/hashimotos but thought it was under control...turns out my thyroid is way out of wack and that is why we can't get pregnant. I made an appointment with my endo for tomorrow. I am just worried it is going to be months before we can get pregnant because I know that it can take months to get my thyroid under control. I just want to know if any moms out there have gotten pregnant with a thyroid problem I need a light at the end of the tunnel :)
Thank you

I have to keep my thyroids in check during my pregnancy (I'm 35 weeks right now) because I'm considered borderline. You have to make sure your thyroids are kept in check because they are an important part of brain development for the baby while you are pregnant. During pregnancy, everything your body does is going to affect the baby in some way. Whether it's your thyroids or something else.

Another thing that might affect you from getting pregnant could be the stress of trying to get pregnant. Stress will make it harder on your body to get things going. I do wish you luck because I can tell this is something you really want. I hope yall can conceive soon. :D

My niece has hyperthyroidism and with both pregnancies, she managed to conceive pretty easily while her thyroids were in check. I don't think it will take months for you to get pregnant, but you need to be careful.
