Hi all :-)

I am looking for anyone who hasn't confirmed their pregnancy until the second trimester?

Apologies in advance for the essay!

I am in a bit of a strange way lately! Long story short, I had a pregnancy "scare" (I say "scare" because I am on the pill and we weren't going to try for another child until next year) in April after having symptoms like constant runny nose, lots of phlegm, vivid dreams, possible implantation bleed while on active birth control pills, increased sensitivity of smells, tired and unusually hungry. All tests were negative. I kept testing after my withdrawal bleeds were becoming very short, only lasting 48 - 60 hours. I forgot all about it for a few weeks and got on with my life. But then my stomach stared bloating before my next withdrawal bleed was due, and it got worse after the bleeding had stopped. I would have been around 7 weeks if I am pregnant. I am now at what would be about 12-13 weeks pregnant and I really look quite pregnant! I have tested again yesterday on an internet cheapy, and absolutely negative..

I feel very heavy in my stomach and haven't really put on any weight to account for my expanding stomach! I have done plenty of measuring of my body to keep track of my weight for the past couple of years, and only my stomach has changed in the last couple of weeks. The fattest part of my stomach has always been under my belly button from having my son. It always measures at 86cm, which is at the fattest point I can ever get it to measure... It now measures at 92cm first thing in the morning! My waist hasn't changed.

Has anyone had negative tests and periods, and gone on to find they were pregnant? I know how silly it sounds, and how unlikely it is, but I have never ever had anything like this happen before! I feel like I am having period cramps in my legs and lower back every night! Period isn't due for another week and a half.

Thank you :-) I just hope they will give me a blood test without a positive hpt! I have been waiting to see if this 'bloating' goes away.. if it doesn't and continues to grow, the doctors will be my next step!

Wait a week and re test or ask doctors for blood test is the most accurate Way to Be sure
