I have a 9 month old girl and I want to give her finger foods but she has no teeth and I scared she will choke. Does anyone have any suggestions on what kinds of finger foods I can start her that are safe?

My granddaughter only has bottom two teeth. My daughter gives her celery sticks to just massage her gums. Also, she buys her these tiny yogurt snacks that dilute in her mouth with saliva. Look in baby food isle. They do have little things which are pretty soluble but keeps their little hands practicing on putting food in their mouth. Mashed bananas are good too. Little messy but hey, what's life without a little mess!

Hi Mom, I would feel comfortable with you know those frozen crinkle French fries? They are sort of bigger. Well cook those but take them out early and they are real soft. lighty flavor with light season salt or nothing at all but ranch or ketchup and watch out. she just may love them...
