My daughter si 4 month old till recently I didn't need to use pacifier (I was happy about it because of the damage it gives to the chin&opal ate structure) and she didn't demand, but last two weeks she is repeatively sucking her fingers and thumb. I am worried that she'll get an unchangable habit. Because I am hearing Some adults are still sucking their thumbs. What do you think?

Thank you Dove for your reply. In the beginning she refused now she is willing to take. But still even when she has pacifier in her mouth, she puts her hand from the other side.

Sucking a lot as an infant is normal. Personally I prefer pacifiers to them sucking their thumb/fingers because a pacifier is something that you can take away. You don't really have to worry about damage until they are at least losing their baby teeth.
