Ava is my first child and I am madly in love with her! However after I had her I experienced postpartum depression and it has recently gotten better. She will be turning one next month. She is only saying mama or dada and hasn't tried to walk yet. I see moms around me with one-year-olds who are saying maybe a few words more and are walking already and I can't help but worry if I am doing enough to help her. In the morning when she wakes up she plays with her toys and I talked to her and the TV is on in the background and I'm starting to worry that maybe that has been a distraction for her. Am I just a new mom that is nervous about her babies learning patterns, or am I doing something wrong?
