First of all, I'm not the Mom. I'm the grandmother.

My daughter and my grandson both live with me. She has never been married to the dad, nor lived with him. I felt it only fair that I claim them both in my income tax. She recived no child support from the baby's daddy. He does occasionally buy formula and diapers. So since I did claim
Them both, he's very mad at me and stopped buying ANYTHING, dropped her car insurance that he paid all of one time, saying if you claim them, I'll show you how hard it is to support them. Now.. Really? I pay for them both to have a roof over there heads, utility and water bill and buy formula. He's not seen his baby in 7 days b/c he refuses to come to my house and wants my daughter to bring the baby to see him( at his mothers, where he lives.. Rent free) she refuses. He is a very selfish person and only wanted more money back on his taxes so he could purchase himself a new truck! I am so mad.. Livid would be a better word!

First of all, you daughter needs to go to court and get custody, visitation and child support sorted out. It will then written down who can claim the children of their taxes and will stop all the arguments! This should have been done straight away.
Secondly: If she refuses for him to see his child then he can take her to court for parental alienation. Maybe she should agree to meet him at the local park or somewhere neutral (since you all hate each other).

Michelle,
In response to your answer, first of all thank you for taking the time to respond.
We don't really hate each other, I believe we can work this problem
out, just by talking about it. It just really hurts me and my daughter that the baby's daddy wanted to primarily use his son for the money he may have received by claiming him. That's NOT what this precious child is about.
