My daughter who will be 7months old next Friday just got her first (two) teeth on the lower part of her mouth. She has been a little crabby and I was wondering if any Moms knew what I could do to ease her pain and make it feel a little better. Also I wanted to know if I should be on the look out for more teeth or if these will be the only two for now?

You can also try teething tablets, most pharmacys carry them, they are all natural and dissolve really fast. They worked really well for my son and don't cost any more than tylenol, they are actucally a little cheaper than tylenol.

You can try Hyland's teething tablets. You can get them at the pharmacy at Costco. They're all natural and they seem to help out a lot.

Thanks for all of your advice and comments! I really appreciate it. She is my first daughter and I am really trying to do things the best that I can. It just makes me soo sad to see her in pain and not be able to fix it. She has been resting a lot today and I gave her some Tylenol which will hopefully help. I am just so excited for her!!! :) Thank you again!

You can try tylenol. There's also some teething pills you can get at Wal-Mart or your local drug store that are all natural. You can also try baby oragel. I've found that the teething pills work the best, sorry I can't remember the name of them, but they are in the baby isle. You should always be on the look out for more teeth. You can always run your finger over her gums and if you feel any bumps then you'll know more teeth are about to pop up. Hope this helps!

I used all the homeopathic and natural remedies with my sons teeth. Also, the Infant Tylenol and sometimes Motrin to take the edge off. Every baby is different but I can tell you that my sons teeth came in pairs each time and it probably took a 2-3 wks for new ones to come in so it gives us somewhat of a break in between! Hope this helps =)

Tylenol works the best, then Teething Tablets & orajel. The teething tablets are supposed to be a natural/no side effect pill that dissolves under the tongue. They seemed to help my daughter.

Hi Danielle

You can try giving her celery sticks to chew on - they are supposed to have an anaelgesic effect for sore gums.

Also, homeopathic teething remedies can be very effective (and without the potential harmful side effects of painkillers) - I'm not sure where you live but try looking for a homeopathic teething remedy in your local health store / pharmacy or even better try calling a homeopathic pharmacy who can offer you some advice. These teething remedies are usually made from chamomilla which is prepared homeopathically. My 14 month baby started teething at 7 months too and we have only used homeopathy - she is currently cutting 4 molars (yes, all at the same time!) and it works like a charm! good luck! xxx
