At just two weeks old this is very typical. . What you can to to help him is; during the day, have him sleep in the bassinet or pack n play in a lit room (no bright, but daylight) and don't limit your noise. At night, keep the room dark and use only a dim nightlight when you get up to feed and change him. At night, no talking, just soft whispers and gentle rocking. Also, if he is breastfeeding, wake him after 3 hours of sleep during the day to nurse. At night let him sleep. Many babies will nurse more at night as your milk can be a bit depleted after you've been up all day, so hydrate and try to rest when you can. If he is bottle fed, wake him every 3 hours during the day, and let him sleep al long as he wants at night.
