My daughter is 6 weeks old. I had her on regular similac at first when she was born then had to change her because of gassyness. I changed her to similac soy isomil (what the pediatrician proscribed) . She has done fine for 5 weeks now and now all of a sudden she is having horrible gas pains, fussyness, and getting constipated. The pediatrician prescribed her medicine for the constipation. The medicine does help the constipation but she is still having problems with gas and fussyness (which is her screaming and crying) I heard Enfimil gentlease was a great formula so I switched her to it. She vomited every bottle I fed her of the Enfimil gentlease. What should I do? Any advice is very much appreciated!

Have you tried adding simethicone drops to the bottle and a dose of it after you feed? Slow the feeding down and burp more often. Changing to a slow flow nipple if baby is gulping or a faster flow is baby is sucking hard can help too. Talk to your doctor about switching formula again, that is tough on a tiny tummy.

Try the soy based Good Start brand.....Good Start is a little easier on their tummies for constipation and gas.
