We don't just use them once... ;)

I guess everybodys hair and skin are different, waxing and epilator causes me to get ingrown hairs.I have very white pale skin and the hairs on my legs are more fluffy and and blonde, just the ones on around my ankles are dark. I use a Gilette Fusion razor, its actualy for men but for me it works the best. I wont ever waste my money on creams or wax again. That trick Dove mentioned works great for me shaving the bikini zone, since shaving with the hair and not against it i get alot less irritation.

Hi Dove
Cheap razors..do you mean the ones you use once and then throw away?I dont know what they are called, single use or something.I have tried them, they dont seem to get all my hair, maybe because its single bladed. I also use soap sometimes works great.h

I used to get red bumps and itchy/irritation on my thighs from shaving... til I started shaving with the hair instead of against it.

Well i will admit i was to lazy spread all that cream on my legs while standing so i sat on my black towel and it was just a mess lol so my son came and wanted to play with my make up and i had cream all on the towel and i tried taking him away without getting cream on him or his clothes...aahh just a complete waste of money and my nerves :-)
You are welcome, i have some time when my son is with my mom at the playground and i use my time on here when he is still asleep :-) I am lucky cuz he sleeps so long in the morning.
I am going to check youtube and send you the link if i find a good one on how to shave without cutting. My husband has seen me shave and he was frightend about how fast i do it,i think its because when i started shaving i was too slow and cut a couple times near my ankle.

Lol Gena I dont think I could have done that with a toddler. Lol why did you use your black towel. Smh yeah I don't think I would let her use the epilator . That's painful well it was for me. Yes she is scared to cut herself. I told her it's just something you have to take your time the first time then you will get use to it. I appreciate you taking the time to answer me knowing that you have a toddler. I know a lot can't be done with a toddler. So thank you.

Thanks for the response Sere. She is scared to get wax. Lol I told her about it but she's scared. I personally didn't want to pressure her about shaving until she would tell me she was ready. I also did mention to her the creams are messy. Well Sere thank you for taking your time to answer. Have a great day.

Mica not to mention the mess i made with the cream,my legs were covered and i had to wait i think 8minutes my beautiful black towel got damaged and i had to run around like a naked chicken to get my toddler out of my make up box. After that stinking expirience with that cream i never used it again. Atleast your daughter could take her time with the cream without running after a toddler:-)
I have tried an epilator(spelling?)but honostly the pain was too much for me to handle and the hairs werent all gone.Same with waxing,i got my legs waxed and it did hurt and after that i had a lot of little red spots and some ingrown hairs. Wasnt fun. I know that by shaving the haird come back, but i mean its so simple quick and easy to shave the legs under the shower.I personaly wouldnt do the waxing, but its up to you and your daughter. Ps yoga pants would really be better, here where i live we were aloud to wear long trainers to PE.Why doesnt she want to shave? Is she scared of cutting her self?

Aha ok.Well i once bought a hair removal cream but it was a homebrand from a store here where i live. I find it smells disgusting, takes time and doesnt work well. If she really wants to try it i would go to a pharmacy and buy some there. But i would try convince her to shave with the razor.

Thank you Gena. I bought her a Venus razor but she wants to use a cream instead .I just don't know which creams are better or which ones work. She's in middle school and other girls are making fun of her. :( so she hasn't been dressing up in PE. I wish instead of shorts they could wear like the yoga pants or jogging pants . But thank you for your response. Have a great day

I would get her a nice shaving gel that foams up. Get it for sensitive skin and then get her a Venus Pro skin razor or any one she would like to use.
