First weaning Food for my baby

Food before one is just for fun and food before 6 months is completely unnecessary and potentially harmful. After saying that... any soft, manageable, and healthy food is fine to start out on. Food does not start to replace the amount of the breast milk or formula that they are drinking until they are a year, so the food that you start out on is not for the purpose of nutrition... but the purpose of learning.
My youngest took his first bite of anything at 6 months and he ate avocado. :)

Try cooking some good, organic, homemade vegetables, put it in a blender, and serve. No broccoli, or anything causing gas. Honey is a no no, too; not until after 1 year. There are some good books out there that will give you good advice. Good luck!
