Hi, I'm new here!

Next month I will fly to I India with my 2 year old boy. And I am wondering how everything would go. For one thing I am worried about his meals and temper tantrums. It's a 3 hour flight and we would have to do another 2 hours by road. He is a very active little fellow, and a picky eater too. Any ideas on how I can manage everything smoothly? Also the temperature in India is raising. Will this sudden change to anither climate affect him.

P.S I'm an Indian living abroad. I've already had a flight with my baby when he was 12 months and it went very well. But he was not that much active back then and was easier to manage.

Pack plenty of small snack for the flight. Dress him in layers as the plane may be cool, and the weather warm when you land. Bring a long his sippy cup or bottle for take off and landing ear pressure relief. Try to work it so he'll need a nap on the plane or car trip. If he has his own seat, bring his carseat on the plane. If he is a lap passenger, you should arrange a carseat to be at your destination or check one with your baggage. You can check your stroller at the gate and the flight crew will meet you at your landing gate with the stroller. Resist the offer to board the plane early. All this does is give you access to the overhead storage and extend your stay on the plane by as much as an hour.
