food and bottles

my daughter has jus gone 4 months and ive started her on the 4m+ foods do i feed her the whole jar or half it and what if she does not seem satisfied after but wont eat no more do i give her a bottle or would that spoil the weaning her of them any replies would be a great help thanks

Her bottle should always be given first. Food before one is just for fun and should absolutely not replace any amount of formula or breastmilk a baby receives. A few bites of solid food is plenty. I didn't even bother starting my kid on solid food until she was almost 8 months old.

I'm with firebird on this bottle first then solids if you are absolutely set on giving her solids at 4 months. Only a couple of spoonfuls is what she should be getting no more then an ounce once a day is plenty, but it would be best to hold off a bit longer.
