My daughter turned 10 months. She is breastfeeding baby but she's just 8kilos.. I want her to gain weight but the problem is she only eat a bit.. it's like she's just tasting the food... what should I do to increase her weight?

Avacado is a good food, full of healthy fats. Milk fats (high fat yogurt, cheese, etc. - not milk to drink yet). Condiments (add butter, may, etc. to her foods where possible - ex// mashed potatoes with cream and butter).

Just curious why you are so eager for her to gain weight? Is the doctor concerned? My daughter was 8kg at a year. Some kids are just small. You could see a dietician too for some good tips. On a side note, she's still learning to eat solids, don't push it too much. She'll get there when she's ready.

If she's continuing to grow, thrive, wet and poop enough, and is meeting milestones... her actual weight number really doesn't matter. I just did the kg to pounds converter and there is nothing wrong with that number either. She is a perfectly normal weight for a 10 month old baby. Some babies are heavier, some are lighter... nothing wrong with either.

If she is breastfeeding well also, there is no reason in the world why she has to do anything more than just taste the food at this point. Some babies aren't even eating solids yet at her age (and yes, some are eating a lot). As long as you just keep offering at regular intervals and let HER determine when and how much she eats.... she'll be fine.

Your baby is breastfeeding , she is getting the nutients she needs from you. If she is 10 months old and you think she is underweight, Is she getting enough breastmilk and eating baby food too? If she is eating breastmilk and babyfood she should be fine. She will let you know if she isn't getting enough food. As for gaining weight, she will gain weight on her own time. But starches is what makes you gain weight.
