I am going to an outdoor walking park area and talking with her tomorrow. Any suggestions? She is 36 years old and has a weekend binge drinking problem.

Make sure that you make your daughter feel really supported, even if in your head you question some of the things she is saying and the validity of them, she needs to know you believe her. One of the biggest things molestation victims are most scared of is that people wont believe them or take their claims seriously!

Good Luck, I'll be sending you positive thoughts!

Thanks. No, I found out from my other daughter who said that she told her about it a long time ago and other things led me to ask her. I don't know if I will talk to my brother yet or not. We do not see each other that often. Thanks for your support. Thanks for reaching out ;) I will share with you how it goes.

I don't know. I just want to offer you some support. Good luck. My only real advice, be open, honest, and listen more than talk. Do you know if she is going to press charges? Have you talked with your brother? How did you find out? I am so sorry for her. I hope she can get some help and find some peace.
