From breast to

I have been breastfeeding for about 3 months now. I love it because it's very comforting to my baby but I want to introduce her to the bottle for when we go out in public I would like to use the bottle rather than breastfeeding. Does anyone have any tips on how I can get her used to the bottle? I hae tried a few times but she really doesn't like it or take it.

With my daughter, I first tried Avent bottles which totally gagged her! After that I found some generic bottle that had this much smaller and shorter nipple. Even with that, I could only put the very tip of it in her mouth or she gagged. It took a good week or so before she'd drink more than 1-2 oz. from a bottle. Eventually, she adjusted and we were able to try other types of bottles.

I breastfed her morning, evening and night. She took bottles of breast milk I'd frozen (and later formula) to daycare.

My advice would be to get used to breastfeeding in public, but I know that's not the answer you are looking for here.

I don't have bottle feeding experience, so good luck!!! :)
