If you're not feeling "in the mood" for sex, and you have sex anyway, it could be physically painful for you and could also be mentally not good for you. When you're aroused, your body responds... your vagina stretches more and the cervix changes position to be receptive to the sperm. Mentally, you may feel resentful of your boyfriend because you're doing something you really don't want to do. You can still have sex and get pregnant, but you should try to enjoy it too.

It's normal to have a decreased sex drive, but intimacy is an important part of a relationship. You should maybe see a counselor to help you work through your the issues that keep you from wanting sex. You might also talk to a doctor to see if there is a hormone imbalance or something medically that is affecting you.
