Hi Patricia, my name is Kat. My daughter is in the same boat as your son. We recently took her to the dentist and after an X-ray, it was revealed that her teeth were coming in but the baby teeth had to be pulled. And that's what they did.
Take him to your dentist and advice on how many extractions if necessary he may have. I'm afraid we'll have the same issue in six months. 😩 Good luck!

Hi, I took my 8 year old to the dentist and got an xray her roots on her baby were to long and had to be extracted. Some of her teeth are able to come out naturally but many have to be extracted in time due to the roots. Her adult teeth were growing behind her baby teeth that's how I new something wasn't right.. go to the dentist!

Oh... did I misread and he hasn't lost his front baby teeth yet? lol Sorry... that 'can' be normal as well, but again... it is always good to get checked out when you have concerns.

Checking w/ the dentist is always a good idea, but I just wanted to let you know that I've known kids who were missing their front teeth for 2 years before they finally came in.

Sometimes there IS as problem, so it is good to get checked out... but sometimes it just takes a long time for those adult teeth to come through the surface.

If you can, take him to the dentists. They will be the best ones to evaluate his mouth for concerns.
