From the time he was born, whenever my little guys sleeps (he is 3 mos. now) his mouth continues to move like he has a pacifier in his mouth! Thing is, his mouth is empty! It is the funniest, cutest thing I have ever seen. But I am wondering, does any other baby do this??? I so curious!

This is just a normal reaction for babies.... nothing to be alarmed. Lol Both my boys did this at this age and it's the cutest reflex I've ever seen! I used to think they're still dreaming they have the pacifiers in their mouth and it's like a security blanket that put them back to sleep.

My son is almost 3 and still does it! I always know when he's getting really tired because he does it then too. What was really funny was that I saw him doing the exact same thing on a couple of his ultrasounds!

My 5 month old does that as well, usually as she is just falling asleep. It is SO cute! I've gotten so used to it now that I just see it as a sign that she's getting tired.

my girl Paige used to do that, but only if the pacifier she was using fell out of her mouth, it's like she doesn't realize it's not there anymore. her tongue would stick out of her mouth and she sucked and sucked until she sucked so hard she made a funny noise, then she'd stir and fall back asleep with her mouth closed.

My daughter used to do this when she was a baby, especially just before she woke up wanting a feed! I know how sweet it looks - enjoy it!!
