My son was born with a heart condition called tetralogy of fallot .This is a heart condition. When he was a couple of weeks he had a swallow test done a discovered he was aspirating his milk. So for the past 7 months he's had a Ng tube. Last week he has another study done and it was still the same aspirating fluids, well now the doc's feel he needs a g tube. I'm scared as a parent we want what's best for our children and I don't want to see anything go wrong. A part of me is against it but the other half feels helpless. I have questions and no answers. Is there an alternative, can we get some kinda therapy is it anyway around this? He'll be 1 in may I'm sure he could start on solids by then. I just need some advice might not be what I want to hear but I am open.
