Hi All,

Okay so my daughter is 5 years old and I have FINALLY caved into the idea of restarting the whole baby deal (baby fever). My husband and I of course really just want a healthy baby. However, if I had a preference really really really really really want a HEALTHY baby boy. We can't afford the $20,000.00 gender selection surgery, but I heard the books have great advice as well as all the 1001 ways Online which is a pain to read every little post. My husband previously before me has had two daughters, and now a third with our little one together. He has 5 sisters, with him being the only male. Out of the 15 grandchildren there are only 6 boys.

Has anyone had any success with the book tips? And if so can you recommend any books or online that you have used?

I'm about in the same boat as you are. In my family, I'm the youngest of 3 girls, I have 9 cousins and only 3 of them are men, out of my and my sisters' kids, there are 8 with only 3 boys. On the other hand, I am now pregnant and we just found out last week that I'm having a boy. I never paid attention with book tips or anything that I have read offline. I find most of those things just old wives tales and they don't ever equal out to anything at all. The way I look at it, you get what you get. Be happy with what you get, because some people aren't able to have any at all.

Note: With that last part I'm not saying that's how you feel. I'm just saying that's how I have looked at things.
