Gerber formula, or solids? At this age, solids are just for fun, not nutrition, so not with any consistency.
Foods before one are just for fun. To get them used to texture, etc. At 5 months, the nutrients are still provided by breastmilk or formula.

Zero. At 5 months old a baby doesn't need anything other than breast milk or formula. At 6+ months you can give them baby food once a day or so to start, but you might want to look into baby led weaning. It's generally better for the baby... and cheaper than having to buy specific 'baby food'.
