Getting a 7 month old to take a cup or bottle?

Hi Mommas,
Well, I made the gigantic mistake of not introducing a bottle very young to my newest baby. The other didn't have a problem transitioning at 6 months, but this little one is being so stubborn. She won't take any liquids (juice, formula, even breast milk) from a cup or bottle! I feel like I'm doomed to breastfeeding forever (I love breastfeeding and we're not planning to completely weaned til after a year, but I've got to get out of the house once in awhile!). Any tips from other moms who have had trouble transitioning? Thanks!

Thanks Bonnie and Joanna for the encouragement. IF I leave the room she will nip at a bottle with juice in it. She doesn't get much more than an ounce at a sitting though. Still totally rejecting breastmilk or formula in the bottle. We're going to keep plugging away!

Have you tried letting someone else give her the bottle? She might be less stubborn if you aren't in the room.

Try to be persistant. When they are use to things one way they become stubborn.
