I have had the Depo injection since I left the hospital with my baby in September; My last shot was in March and I was due for one in June but skipped it because we're trying for a second child. I've been hearing really frightning things about conceiving after coming off of it... ANY ADVICE OR INPUT!!!!

I was on the Depo and it took me 11 months to conceive, we had loads of fun trying though lol!

It can take up to a year for it to come out of your system so try not to worry about it, just relax, I got really stressed with it and that was what was stopping me conceiving. Also, if you want any more kids soon after each other I wouldn't use the depo in between!

hope this helps, good luck! x

A co-worker and I were both on the Depo shot and got off of it about the same time. She wanted to get pregnant right away but didn't want any type of drugs like the pill in her system so she wasn't on anything. It took her a year to get pregant! I went on the pill because my doctor told me it would make my body more regular (if that make sense) I wasn't planning on getting pregnant right away so about a year later when we decided to try, I got pregnant right away. It's funny because my old co-worker and I were pregnant at the same time :) Good luck to you!

I was on depo, but stopped an entire year before trying to get pregnant. We had no troubles and I got pregant on our first try. Of course I'm a planner and had mapped out the exact day to try!!

I'm on Depo too. My doctor told me that it could take up to a year after your last injection to become pregnant again. But every woman is different. You may not have to wait that long. I think a lot of other factors are involved too, like age, lifestyle, etc. I would talk with your doctor. If you are still having a hard time getting pregnant your doctors can help you get there.
Hope this helps :)

Everyone reacts differently and no-one can tell you excatly when, the more you worry the harder your body will have to fight to get and stay pregnant, relax an enjoy the process.

I typed in PREGNANCY+DEPO in goggle and looked at a couple things people were saying it was takiong them 2 or 3 years to regulate they period and concieive... I want to conceive before that and I know every person is different but my fiance is 36 and I'm 24 so he doesn't want to be too old with a teenager and I want to be done having children by 30!!! You should search and read what I read I think it was a website something like Womenshealth.com
