Giving a 7 month old a rock is dangerous and not good thinking. It is a choking hazard if its just the right size. Letting her chew on it is a danger to her teeth and mouth and can hurt it in many ways from chipping and breaking teeth to cutting her delicate tissues. Also as a choking hazard, if swallowed you might not be able to get it out to keep her from not breathing. Why on earth do you think she needs to wait until age 2 to walk. By the time she gets to age one or older she is going to want to go places and if you can not try to keep up with her and set her a boundary system up then why did you have a kid? That is part of the package. They learn as they grow. If you keep her from walking when she is ready you will also cause some damage to her muscles and bones in growing and getting stronger.....where did you get this bloody silly idea?
