Potty training is different for each child. I worked in a childcare center for 7 years and I'm a mom too. The 1st thing to understand is accidents happen. and 2nd she'll be ready when she's ready. The reward system is definately a keeper, sometimes it just takes time to see it happen. NEVER make her feel bad for what's she done, this will only discourage her. It took the Easter bunny bringing my son a "big boy toy" to get hime to go #2. Don't get discouraged yourself, it's not you, it's just the course she'll take. And trust me it will be over before you know it! Also do you have her stop what she's doing and clean herself up (with supervision)? Having mommy do it doesn't help, especially if she old enough to change her own clothes. She'll learn it's much easier to stop and go, than to stop and change.

My daughter turns 3 12/11/12. Doing really well with potty. She definitely didn't want to wear a pull-up. Now she's completely regressing. She just started at Montessori with her brother and she has to have a change of clothes every day. I feel absolutely awful. However I don't want her to feel stressed. I will try the reward method.

We are going through the same exact thing with our daughter who is 3. I have read that sometimes, just before a major milestone, children will revert backwards for a short time. I KNOW it is SO frustrating for you! I tried to put our daughter back in diapers, but she cried. Then, yesterday, I took her to the store and let her pick out a brand new pack of big girl panties. She is very proud of them because she got to pick them out, I think. She went all day yesterday without a single accident! I hope this helps you! Good luck!

Our daycare used M&M's to bribe them and it totally works for *everything*. He gets one M&M each time he goes potty, then a small sucker for having a BM on the potty. He isn't to the BM part yet, but just the peeing is okay with me for now!

my daughter did the same thing, it was very frustrating. I finally got fed up and put a diaper on her. I told her she could not pee or poop on barney (her favorite panties) so she had to wear a diaper. She did for one day, The next morning she got up and said she wanted her barney panties. I again told her she couldn't pee or poop on him. She said ok and never had an accident again. I think it was a matter of it being her decision.

My youngest daughter did the same thing. I tried everything I could think of. Finally, fed up with dirty panties, I bought a cheap pack of diapers and put one on her. Told her that if she wanted to be like a baby and go in her panties, she would have to wear diapers. She was devastated and tore the diaper off. She wanted to be a big girl. That was the last of the accidents.
