Bi-polar is not like anything you're saying. Bi-polar is when a person has drastic high and low moods. The person is still functional as far as learning, knowing how to perform tasks, etc. If she has developmental issues due to brain damage when she was born, that's a different thing. You should have her evaluated by a specialist to find out what her developmental stage actually is, and they can give recommendations on her education and how to help her advance.

Joyce, I wasn't trying to be smart. It can just be confusing to readers when they see that someone responding to your post has asked a question when it appears the question was answered in the original post. It's better to see the whole conversation as it happens and read the responses to get the whole picture. It can also be confusing to readers if advice is provided to three different posts. If you create a single post, that message stays active and other moms can respond to it if they feel they have something to say. You won't necessarily get more or different responses by creating 3 or 4 different posts.
