There's no contact he either hasn't answered my calls or won't call me back when I do get a chance to talk to him. My mom lives with us still and we've always lived with my parents she's confused because my moms here but no papa. I gave her a picture thought it would help?

I have contacted him many times I either get voicemail or I'm at work ill call you back. It ends in me calling again later and getting a voicemail or the decline phone call. They were buds and my mom still lives with us.

My son is 3 and my husbands parents recently split up...we lived with them the first year of our sons life and then when we moved they moved in with us until he was 2 so needless to say he is ATTACHED to them both...his "pop pop" still lives next door but his "mom mom" moved 2 hours away...she is absolute favorite person but all I can tell him when he asked about her is that we can call her...she promises she will come see him and never does...They are so small its hard to know what to say...so normally I let him call her and then we go do something fun go to the park or play a game or play cars just something to take his mind off of it

Surely the move isn't the only reason there isn't any contact. My Dad lives on the other side of the world and we have regular contact.
Just because people are no longer together it doesn't mean they have to turn their back on the family. Contact him and ask him why.
