Hi, so my almost 11 month old daughter was born out of wedlock. Her father and i are planning to get married. But my inlaw is not crazy, but a phychotic women who does not follow the simplest of requests you ask of. EX: dont bring my daughter outide without my knowledge. -altho its simple, she ignores it and finds me disrespectful to disagree with HER wshes with MY daughter. This women tries to diagnos my daughter with anything. She has a history with feeding her own children unneeded medications until they were able to say no. Even at that shed bribe and pay them money to do so. My daughters fathers kidney was like a 30 year olds at age 10. She threatens me if i keep my daughter away from her she'll file for grandparents rights or just take her away from me. I have never put my child in danger to my awareness. Nor am i abusive, druggie, or a drinker. Im labeled as a minor. I'm 17 and so is the father. We have had a paternity test so if something were to happen to me, her father could take guardianship. If we were to get married, could her rights be taken away? We live in the state of indiana. My concerns are with the safety and well being of my child.
