I'm a little worried and don't know what to think. I took a home test and came back neg. My Obgyn said there's no way I could be pregnant. I feel off some days I feel like I could be and some days I don't.... Have anyone gone though this before??

I am 27 and I also agree with you ladies. I have been thinking that there could be something else going on. I just called and my OB isn't there for the day so I was going to just drive to a urgent care.

How old are you? Could you be going through menopause?
There are a lot of possibilities and I agree that your OB doesn't have you best interests at heart. Anytime a women doesn't her period for 4 months without reason NEEDS to have it investigated. There are many reasons and some of them aren't the best. You need a few tests run to find out why.

It certainly sounds like she doesn't. If you are pregnant she could potentially be negligent by telling you it isn't possible. 12% of tubal ligation pregnancies are actually ectopic.....danger to your health. Not saying that is your issue, but just telling you over the phone that it isn't possible is totally wrong. I'm with your husband on this one!!

LOL, your OB doesn't realise that tests can be wrong? False negatives happen. Definitely call and get tested by your OB. If she still tells you it isn't possible, consider a change. And for the benefit of future patients, mention to her that there IS actually a failure rate with tubal ligation too.

I only called and spoke to her. She told me to take a test and if I comes back neg. not to worry about it. I will be calling her today to see if she will see me.

Did your OB actually do any test? He can't just say there is no way you could be pregnant unless he did a test for it. And if he didn't, I would think very seriously about changing OBs, because it should be common knowledge to him that a woman with her tubes tied still has a 1 in 300 chance of getting pregnant, so to totally ignore it and not check for it would be incredibly remiss of him.

Either way, given it has been 4 months and you are feeling this way, you probably should go back to determine the cause. It could be something else, and it needs to be identified one way or another.
