Oil, any would be great. Babies came from a nutrient rich environment. With the introduction to our water, soaps and shampoos and bedding. Moisture and natural oils are lost. Try Aveeno baby wash for hair and body and only use a dime size amount ( remember our sweet babies are not dirty) they do not have to be scrubbed clean. Gently wash and then while hair is still wet add olive oil (warmed in microwave a few seconds) - a quater size amount -(then pat to remove dripping water, do not dry the hair and allow to air dry) - or a mix that i use of grapessed oil and olive oil equal parts, lol I use the ketchup and mustard squeeze bottle you can find at the dollar store to store my small amount of mixed oils. I have it handy after bathing. I preheated oils in a mug before adding to squeeze bottle. You dont really have to reheat it after the fiirst time. Also wash babies hair less frequently once or twice a week with baby wash Aveeno shampoo. On the other days just rinse with warm water. We have tendency to treat their hair like ours, (I am guilty of this also), my son has never lost his hair it grew steadily. Also tummy time helps! Their hair, back and neck muscles. My son has a head of curls :)
Mom of four and none of my kids exprienced any hair loss.
